B TEAMS CLINIC, merensky (1 mAr '25)

MERENSKY HOCKEY B TEAMS RECEIVE TOP TRAINING AT CLINIC

Blue Astro - Saturday, 1 March 2025

The B Team hockey players of Merensky Agricultural Academy had a fantastic opportunity to sharpen their skills on Saturday, 1 March 2025, during a special clinic with Reinhardt Blokker. This initiative, held at the Blue Astro, was organized to focus specifically on technical and strategic aspects of the game.

The day’s activities kicked off at 08:00 and concluded at 13:00 with a relaxing boerewors roll braai. During the sessions, the B Team players and their coaches gained valuable insights into various aspects of hockey, including:

Field skills and technical drills.
Decision-making in match scenarios and strategic game plans.
Game patterns and teamwork to improve performance.

This clinic provided players with a golden opportunity to learn from one of their own coaches, Reinhardt Blokker, and take their game to the next level.

Merensky’s B Teams not only mastered new skills but also strengthened teamwork and collaboration. Opportunities like this are invaluable for developing future hockey talent at Merensky.

A big thank you to Coach Reinhardt Blokker, the other coaches, and everyone who made this successful day possible. The hockey B Teams now head into the season with confidence and improved skills!
